Girls Views : {Random #}
Boys Views : {Random #}
Check yours at +[link]

Question:
Can I see who visited, viewed, stalked or spied on my facebook profile?

Answer:
No. Be aware that there is NO feature or app on Facebook which allows the viewing of profile visitors and considering the privacy implications of such functionality, it will probably never be allowed. Therefore, any message or application that claims otherwise is most definitely a SCAM.

Summary:
Facebook users may notice some of their friends posting a message with the words "similar to the ones shown aboveand a attached link. The messages are not posted by your friends, but by a Rogue app they have been tricked into installing, under the impression that they are going to see their total profile views.. The Rogue application "Profile Views" does nothing more than Spam your wall, without your knowledge, with aforementioned bogus message and a link once you "Allow or Install" it on your facebook profile. The end game is you must fill out surveys or download products to view the blocked content. This is a Survey ScamDO NOT CLICK THE LINKS IN THE MESSAGES OR INSTALL THIS APP IF YOU SEE IT POSTED IN YOUR NEWS FEED BY A FRIEND

Scam Type: Rogue App, Profile Spy, Survey Scam

Block App Link - ( You can use this to block the facebook app from your profile. )

The Break Down
Facebook users may notice some of their friends posting a message similar to the example below. DO NOT CLICK THE LINK given in the post.

Example

If you get drawn in by this message and click the link that is provided you will be transferred to the "Application Request For Permission" screen you see below.

Example

At this point you are asked to give an application named "Profile Views" the requested permissions you see above. It's asking for quite a lot of access to your profile. The important thing here is that you stop and look at these application screens. Do not blindly give applications this kind of access to your profile. This particular set of "Permissions" will:
  1. Allow this app access to your basic profile information, plus the info you have set to "Everyone".
  2. Give it the ability to post to your wall without asking.
  3. Plus do all of the aforementioned things even when you are not using the app.
This application is requesting all of these permissions because once you click allow, the following message will be posted to your wall without your knowledge and you haven't even been shown what was promised in the original message.

Example

While your friends see the above messages pop up in their news feeds, (Spamming Them), you are shown that you must now complete a Survey  for a "Facebook Verification Spam Bot" to continue. Sadly there is no such thing and this is simply a ploy to get you to download a product or do a Survey for which the scammer will be paid.. You will not be able to continue until you complete one of them. It is advised that you do not continue. See example.

It is important that you never hand over any personal information, such as: email addresses, cell number, name, home address or credit card numbers, to these types of scams. If you do, you are simply setting yourself up to be spammed or worst. Identity theft is big business and handing over some of the info these bogus surveys ask for, will make you a victim of that business. If you have made the mistake of handing over a credit card number, you should call your bank or credit provider as soon as possible to have them remove or dispute the charges that have or maybe made to the card. If you've given your cell number to any of these types of Scams, it is important that you call your cell carrier ASAP to have any charges you may receive stopped. If you begin to receive unsolicited phone calls, you should take note of the calls, record names and numbers, then report the calls to the FCC or other proper authorities..

Phone Scam: You've been to WikiLeaks, pay up or face jail time!

Share

The Better Business Bureau has put out a warning for a new phone scam, which threatens potential victims with heavy fines or perhaps imprisonment for visiting wikileaks.

Potential victims are called by an automated system which states their computer's IP address. The system then tells them that they have been caught visiting the wikileaks site and could face up to a 250,000 fine or imprisonment for the act. They are then given a phone number and told they must call the number to discuss payment arrangements.

The scam is using spoofed phone numbers and takes advantage of VOIP systems to keep the cost low for the scam artist.

Simple, If someone calls you with this scam,
see the picture below..

AppRiver, a security software vendor has put out a warning for a new fishing campaign which is using a $250 cash reward from the fast food chain McDonald's. This bogus incentive is being used to extract customers sensitive personal information.

Cyber criminals have sent out thousands of unsolicited e-mails that appear to be from a company named McDonald's consulting. Victims are urged within this e-mail to click an attached link and complete a five question survey. They are told that in return for doing the survey they will receive a $250 cash reward.

Once the victim completes the survey and submits it with their personal information, they will be redirected to the real McDonald's corporate website. This is to give the victims a false sense of security.

This particular phishing scam is nearly identical to one which targeted the customers of Coca-Cola earlier this month. That particular scam offered victims $150 for completed survey. According to AppRiver this looks as if it was simply a cut-and-paste job, because many of the links within the Coca-Cola scam were the same.

Advice:
As usual, it is important that you have a fully updated and functioning antivirus solution installed on your computer at all times. Never open links or attachments contained in unsolicited e-mails and always take the time and hover your mouse pointer over any links that you come across. This will ensure you see exactly where link lead before you click them.
